At Nightingale we pride ourselves in looking good. We expect all children to wear the correct uniform. Parents are able to purchase uniform items from the school office. Children are allowed to wear grey skirts or trousers sold in any high street shops. Children should wear sensible black shoes or plain black unbranded trainers. It is against school rules to wear jewellery with the exception of very small stud earrings. Parents are asked to put names on their children’s clothes as this will make it easier to locate the owner of lost property clothes.

Safety is of utmost importance for our children. Parents are asked to make sure that their child has the correct p.e kit for their lesson. Children need to bring shorts, T-shirts and trainers on the day of their p.e lesson. Parents are notified of their child’s P.E day at the beginning of the term. If you are not sure then you should ask your Childs class teacher.
Some classes may have swimming or canoeing for p.e throughout the course of the year and their class teacher will let you know in advance what clothes is appropriate for these sessions.
A lost property green bin is kept in the hall. Please check in here if your child is unable to find an item of clothing after your child has had a good look in their classroom.
