The information below will then help you understand the best way to get in touch with us.
We want to make sure we respond to you in the most helpful way. Please take a moment to consider what you need from us:
Is it feedback?
You need to be heard
Sometimes you want to share your views with the school without needing us to respond, but you expect us to listen and take it on board. We actively seek feedback from parents because we want to hear and adapt to your views.
What to do: Share your feedback using our electronic feedback form here. This will go through to the school office and will be directed to the appropriate staff member. We value all feedback and will consider it carefully, though we may not always be able to reply individually. Alternatively, you can complete our annual parent satisfaction survey when it is released in July each year.
Is it a concern?
You need an answer
Sometimes you have a worry or question about an important issue and you're looking for reassurance or clarification. We take informal concerns seriously and will make every effort to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
What to do: It is likely that your child's class teacher can quickly resolve an informal concern. You can feel free to ask them for a suitable time to have a conversation, request for them to give you a call or send them an email. They will aim to respond to your concern or request within three days.
Please Note: We want to give your concern the attention it deserves. Conversations at drop-off and pick-up times can be difficult as teachers are focused on keeping children safe and may not be able to discuss matters fully.
Alternatively, you can contact the office and request to speak with your child's Phase Leader:
Early Years - Miss Sweeney
Years 1-3 - Miss Islam
Years 4-6 - Mr Steele
They will aim to return your call within 48 hours.
Is it a complaint?
You need action
Sometimes you may be dissatisfied with the school's actions or lack of action. If informal discussions haven't resolved your concern, or if the matter is serious, you can make a formal complaint.
What to do: If you wish to raise a formal complaint you can do so by completing our complaint form here. This complaint form is sent straight to the Headteacher. Alternatively, you can write a letter and drop it in to the school office. You will usually receive an initial response within 3 days and a full response within 5 days. When completing the form you will be asked to state what action you would like to see the school take to resolve the matter. We do this so that we can understand the next steps that you are looking for.
Most issues can be resolved quickly through an informal conversation. We encourage you to contact us as soon as you have a concern so we can work together to find a solution.
If you're unsure whether your issue is feedback, a concern, or a complaint, please don't hesitate to contact the school office. We'll be happy to guide you and make sure your query reaches the right person.
We are committed to:
